Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dependable YouTube Video Editor to produce polished, faceless educational videos for our channel. Working from fully provided scripts, you will turn written content into engaging 10–14 minute videos with a clean, modern visual style — animation-driven formats are welcome. The ideal candidate combines strong editing craft with genuine, in-depth knowledge of YouTube’s content policies, and takes real pride in delivering work that is both creative and fully compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce faceless educational YouTube videos of approximately 10–14 minutes from provided scripts
• Transform written scripts into engaging visuals using footage, graphics, text overlays, and animation where appropriate
• Apply a clean, modern editing style aligned with current YouTube standards and viewer expectations
• Ensure every video fully complies with YouTube’s content policies, community guidelines, and copyright rules to protect the channel from strikes or restrictions
• Submit each completed video for review and incorporate feedback before final approval
• Manage revisions efficiently and maintain consistent quality across all videos
• Keep project files, assets, and versions organized for a smooth production workflow
• Communicate proactively about progress, timelines, and any potential issues
• Collaborate directly with the business owner to refine the channel’s visual style over time

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube videos, ideally faceless or narration-driven content
• Deep familiarity with YouTube content policies, community guidelines, and copyright rules — including how strikes, claims, and channel restrictions happen and how to avoid them
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
• Strong sense of modern editing style — pacing, motion graphics, text animation, and visual storytelling
• Ability to work accurately from provided scripts and translate them faithfully into video
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness to feedback

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating animated or motion-graphics-driven explainer videos
• Background editing educational, informational, or business-focused content
• Familiarity with AI-assisted production tools (e.g., AI scriptwriting or voiceover platforms)
• Basic knowledge of YouTube SEO, titles, and thumbnails
• Experience managing the end-to-end production workflow for a single channel

Work Schedule
