Social Media Content Editor (Photo & Video)

• *Job Summary: **We are looking for a skilled Photo and Video Editor to handle the day-to-day editing of content for our social media presence. You will work from raw photos and video footage and edit them to match an established visual style, using our existing filters, presets, and style references. This role suits someone with a sharp eye for consistency who can take a defined look and apply it flawlessly across every piece of content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw photos to match an established filter and preset style
• Edit raw video footage into polished content for social media posts and stories
• Apply existing presets, filters, and style references consistently across all deliverables
• Prepare content in the correct formats and aspect ratios for feed posts and stories
• Maintain a consistent visual identity across all published content
• Organize and manage raw files, edited assets, and version control
• Schedule and publish approved content to social media accounts
• Communicate progress and flag any issues with raw footage quality or missing assets
• Incorporate feedback and revision requests quickly and accurately

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience editing photos and video for social media
• Strong proficiency with photo editing software and the ability to apply custom presets and filters accurately
• Video editing skills for short-form social content, including cuts, pacing, captions, and transitions
• Ability to replicate and maintain an established visual style rather than imposing your own
• Understanding of platform-specific formats and specifications for posts and stories
• A portfolio of past editing work available for review
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting a personal brand or individual content creator
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools
• Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar
• Basic understanding of what performs well on social platforms
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and meet consistent posting deadlines
• Comfort taking direction and iterating quickly on feedback
