Short Form Video Editor

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Short Form Video Editor to help transform a large library of raw content into polished, ready-to-post videos for TikTok and Instagram. This role is ideal for someone who can take raw footage and turn it into engaging, on-trend short-form content with minimal direction. You’ll work from a shared library of raw materials and return finished, watermark-free edits ready for posting.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw, unedited footage into polished short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels/B-roll format)
• Edit and retouch photos for social media posting
• Maintain a consistent weekly output of short-form video content
• Repurpose top-performing content across TikTok and Instagram
• Work from a shared drive/album system — pull raw materials and return finished edits
• Ensure all final exports are clean and completely watermark-free
• Help establish and maintain a consistent posting rhythm across platforms

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience editing short-form video content for TikTok and/or Instagram Reels
• Comfortable editing directly within mobile apps or standard editing software (no specific software required)
• Experience with basic photo editing for social media
• Ability to consistently deliver clean, watermark-free final exports
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with the beauty, skincare, or wellness industry
• Understanding of current TikTok trends and short-form storytelling techniques
• Experience helping a brand maintain a consistent social media posting schedule
• Ability to manage multiple pieces of content simultaneously

Work Schedule

Flexible, not fixed on the call. 10 hours per week spread across the week. Client is in Pacific Time (US). Exact days and hours to be confirmed at onboarding.
