Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and versatile Marketing Virtual Assistant to support our in-house marketing lead across day-to-day marketing operations. This role focuses on executing repetitive but essential marketing tasks — blog content, basic SEO, email marketing, and light paid ads support — freeing up our internal team to focus on higher-level strategy. The ideal candidate has a solid grasp of general digital marketing and is comfortable working within established systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write, format, and publish blog posts aligned with the content calendar
  • Implement basic on-page SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, keyword placement, internal linking)
  • Support light maintenance on Google Ads campaigns (monitoring, minor adjustments, reporting)
  • Assist with Meta Ads setup, monitoring, and optimization (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Build, schedule, and manage email marketing campaigns and newsletters
  • Monitor ad campaigns to ensure correct targeting, pacing, and on-time delivery
  • Execute general marketing tasks following established SOPs and systems
  • Track basic performance metrics and report results to the marketing lead
  • Keep marketing assets, documents, and campaigns organized and up to date

Mandatory Skills

  • Proven experience as a marketing VA, digital marketing assistant, or similar role
  • Working knowledge of blog writing and on-page SEO fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and/or Meta Ads (campaign setup, monitoring, optimization)
  • Experience running email marketing campaigns through tools like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or similar
  • Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress or similar)
  • Ability to follow SOPs and work within established systems and processes
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with both Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools
  • Experience supporting service-based businesses or local/home services brands
  • Ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to suggest improvements to existing workflows
