Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a versatile Marketing Specialist to help launch and grow our online business. You will manage affiliate marketing, reach out to suppliers, set up our website and backend systems, and build our email marketing in Klaviyo. You will also create graphics and support customers along the way. The ideal candidate is resourceful, hands-on, and comfortable wearing many hats.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage our affiliate marketing program, including recruiting, onboarding, and supporting affiliates
• Conduct supplier outreach to source products, negotiate terms, and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Set up and configure the backend of our online store, including products, settings, and integrations
• Support the setup of our new website, including page building, content uploads, and testing
• Design marketing graphics, banners, and visual assets that match our brand
• Handle customer service inquiries via email and chat in a timely, friendly manner
• Set up and manage Klaviyo, including email flows, campaigns, and list segmentation
• Track marketing performance and recommend improvements to grow sales and engagement

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in digital or e-commerce marketing
• Hands-on experience setting up and managing Klaviyo (flows, campaigns, segments)
• Experience with affiliate marketing or partnership programs
• Experience with website and backend setup on e-commerce or CMS platforms
• Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar
• Strong written English and customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Preferred Skills

• Experience with supplier sourcing or vendor negotiation
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices and A/B testing
• Basic understanding of SEO and marketing analytics
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
