Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful E-commerce Operations Manager to join a fast-growing e-commerce business. This role combines customer support and content management tasks, requiring the ability to handle customer inquiries, manage content on an e-commerce platform, and improve operational efficiency. You will work with tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Gorgeous, and AI-driven automation systems to maintain high standards, implement KPIs, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Support Management

  • Assist in managing customer support processes for the e-commerce business.
  • Handle escalations from the automated bot for issues that require human intervention.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding orders, deliveries, and account-related issues through email and chat.
  • Maintain customer support tools like Gorgeous and Klaviyo for seamless customer interaction.

Content Management

  • Update product descriptions, images, and banners on the e-commerce site.
  • Ensure that all content is aligned with brand guidelines and optimized for customer experience.
  • Create and update visual assets for the website using tools like Shopify and Photoshop.

Operational Efficiency

  • Implement automation solutions to reduce manual tasks and increase team productivity.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Platform Management

  • Manage and optimize the Shopify store, including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Stay updated with e-commerce trends and propose improvements to enhance the user experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in e-commerce operations, customer support, and content management.
  • Proficiency in tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Gorgeous, and basic understanding of AI tools and automation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and internal team communication efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the hemp industry is a plus.

Working Hours & Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedules as needed based on project deadlines or urgent tasks.
