Digital PR Outreach Specialist

• *Job Summary:** We are looking for an experienced Digital PR Outreach Specialist to support our outreach efforts within a busy, established PR team. In this role, you’ll build targeted media lists, craft compelling outreach emails from press releases, and push creative, data-led stories to journalists and publishers. The ideal candidate already knows the world of digital PR, works with initiative, and can run with a story from brief to placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Build accurate, well-researched media lists of relevant journalists and publishers for each story
• Summarize and adapt press releases into concise, engaging outreach emails
• Execute outreach campaigns using PR tools such as BuzzStream
• Pitch and push creative, data-driven stories to maximize coverage and earned links
• Track outreach progress and follow up with contacts to secure placements
• Flag when a story has run its course and proactively request the next brief
• Coordinate with the wider outreach team through Slack to keep work organized
• Maintain a steady workflow and communicate openly on progress and results

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in digital PR, media outreach, or link-building
• Hands-on experience building media lists and pitching to journalists
• Familiarity with outreach platforms such as BuzzStream (or similar)
• Excellent written English with strong email and copywriting skills
• Ability to work proactively and take initiative without waiting for instructions
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience pitching creative or data-led stories (not just corporate news)
• A portfolio demonstrating past coverage or earned links
• Bilingual ability (French, German, or Spanish) for international outreach
• Familiarity with working inside a designated PR/outreach team
• Ability to manage multiple stories and deadlines simultaneously

Monday to Thursday, 9:00 to 5:00 UK time. Fridays off.
