Video Editor

• *Job Summary:** We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos. Working from provided script notes, you’ll handle everything from rough cuts to final treatments — adding text, B-roll, transitions, and sound effects that bring each piece to life. The ideal candidate is technically strong in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, coachable, and passionate about high-quality video storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video files into high-quality rough cuts using provided script notes
• Apply on-screen text treatments and graphics to enhance clarity and engagement
• Source and integrate B-roll footage to strengthen visual storytelling
• Create and implement smooth transition clips throughout each video
• Add and layer sound effects to elevate pacing and production quality
• Incorporate AI tools into the editing workflow to improve speed and output
• Collaborate closely with the team to align edits with creative direction
• Revise and refine edits based on feedback

Mandatory Skills

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Proven experience creating quality rough cuts from raw video files
• Strong skills in text treatments, B-roll integration, transitions, and sound design
• Familiarity with AI tools used in video production
• Coachable, with a strong willingness to learn and apply feedback
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Preferred Skills

• Experience with motion graphics and visual effects
• Color grading and audio mixing experience
• Background editing short-form or social media content
• Ability to manage multiple video projects simultaneously
