Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced GoHighLevel Automation & Marketing Specialist to optimize, expand, and manage our marketing automations and workflows. This role is ideal for a proactive, technically skilled professional who knows GoHighLevel inside and out — someone who can fine-tune existing systems, build new automations, and recommend improvements we haven’t even thought of yet. You’ll play a central role in lead follow-up, review generation, SMS and email marketing, and AI-powered communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize and fine-tune existing GoHighLevel automations and workflows for better performance
- Build and improve lead follow-up automations to capture and convert more opportunities
- Set up and manage Google review generation tracking, including capturing reviews left organically off-platform
- Create reactivation campaigns to re-engage past customers
- Configure SMS text response systems for a range of marketing campaigns
- Set up AI-powered responses for incoming messages and inquiries
- Build and manage mass email campaigns within GoHighLevel
- Implement AI optimization across GoHighLevel communication channels
- Support high-volume text message management using automation and AI tools
- Proactively recommend new automations, tools, and features to improve efficiency and revenue
Mandatory Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with GoHighLevel automations, workflows, and back-end configuration
- Strong knowledge of lead follow-up, SMS, and email marketing automation
- Experience setting up AI chatbots and AI-powered messaging within GoHighLevel
- Ability to build and optimize review generation and customer reactivation campaigns
- Technical and programming aptitude for advanced GoHighLevel customization
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain and demonstrate systems clearly
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with service-based businesses or contractors
- Familiarity with integrating websites and third-party tools into GoHighLevel
- Proven track record of spotting automation opportunities that drive revenue
- Ability to train and guide non-technical team members on using the systems
- Ability to manage multiple automation projects simultaneously
