Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Public Relations and Social Media Specialist to help elevate our brand visibility and digital presence. This role centers on crafting compelling press releases, securing media coverage, managing social media channels, and leveraging modern AI-powered marketing tools. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong PR instincts and the ability to take ownership of communications strategy with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and distribute professional press releases to build brand awareness and credibility
• Research, build, and maintain targeted media lists for outreach campaigns
• Pitch stories and features to journalists, bloggers, and media outlets
• Identify and coordinate podcast guest appearances and speaking engagement opportunities for company leadership
• Manage and create strategic content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Utilize AI-powered social media tools such as ManyChat and multi-login platforms to automate and optimize engagement
• Develop and execute social media marketing strategies that go beyond generic posting
• Monitor media coverage, track PR campaign performance, and report on results
• Study the company’s products, services, and brand voice to accurately represent the business in all communications
• Support general administrative and operational tasks during lighter PR periods

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in public relations, including press release writing, media outreach, and journalist pitching
• Strong social media management skills across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Proficiency with AI-powered marketing and automation tools (e.g., ManyChat, multi-login platforms, ChatGPT, or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision
• Strong research skills for media list building and identifying PR opportunities
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

Preferred Skills

• Experience with podcast booking and coordinating speaking engagements
• Background in PR or marketing for tech startups or SaaS companies
• Familiarity with media monitoring and coverage tracking tools
• Experience creating and executing content strategies that drive measurable engagement growth
• Knowledge of SEO principles as they relate to PR and content distribution
• Ability to manage light administrative and operational tasks as needed
