VA MASTERS Testimonials & Case Studies: Real Client Reviews, Video Stories and Results
VA MASTERS clients consistently describe three things: they get qualified candidates fast (often within days), the VA they hire matches the actual job rather than a generic profile, and the support does not stop after placement. Those themes repeat across our Trustpilot reviews (all 32 reviews are 5 stars), our video testimonials, and the written stories on this page.
This page collects them all in one place. You will find unedited client testimonials organized by industry, video interviews with business owners, detailed case studies with the numbers behind each hire, real WhatsApp messages from clients, and reviews from the Filipino virtual assistants we place. We also include the less polished moments, such as the times a first hire was not the right fit and what happened next.
If you are researching VA MASTERS reviews before booking a call, this is the most complete view of what working with us looks like, written by the people who have done it.
VA MASTERS Reviews at a Glance
VA MASTERS holds an average rating of 5.0 from clients on Trustpilot (every one of our 32 reviews is 5 stars) and 5.0 on Indeed from the virtual assistants we place. The reviews the reviews come from business owners in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and beyond.
We publish reviews on independent platforms because a testimonial on our own website is only half the story. Here is where to find each source and what it tells you.
| Source | Who writes it | Rating | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trustpilot | Clients (business owners) | 5.0 average, 32 reviews, 100% 5-star | Hiring speed, candidate quality, support after placement |
| Indeed | VAs placed by VA MASTERS | 5.0 overall (Culture 5.0, Management 4.9) | How VAs are treated, which predicts retention and performance |
| Glassdoor | VAs and internal team | 4.9+ average | Work culture, management style, honest pros and cons |
| Video testimonials (this page) | Clients on camera | Unscripted interviews | The full context behind a hire, in the client's own words |
| WhatsApp screenshots (this page) | Clients in day-to-day chats | Unprompted feedback | What clients say when they are not writing a review |
How our Trustpilot reviews are collected
Trustpilot labels every review by how it was collected, and we think you should know the mix. Of the client reviews on our profile, roughly half are marked Verified (Trustpilot confirmed a real business relationship), just under a third are Invited (we asked a client to share feedback), and the rest are Unprompted (the client found the page and wrote a review on their own).
We ask clients for feedback once they have worked with their VA for about a month. We do not pay clients for reviews and we do not edit what they write. That is why you will see reviews that mention onboarding challenges and first hires that did not work out.
Looking for VA reviews specifically? Our placed virtual assistants share their experiences in detail on our VA MASTERS employee review page. For long-form client stories, see client success stories.
What Clients Say Most Often: 6 Themes From Our Reviews
We read every review and testimonial we receive. When you put more than 50 of them side by side, the same six themes come up again and again. These are the reasons clients give, in their own words, for why the hire worked.
1. Speed: candidates in days, not months
Most clients come to us after a slow, painful hiring attempt on their own. The most common surprise in our reviews is how quickly the process moves once the role is defined. Our recruitment team usually delivers the first qualified candidates within a few business days.
Speed to action was just incredible. Made us feel wow, we've made the right decision.- Coaching business founders, Australia (video testimonial)
Working with VA Masters has been quick and efficient from the start. The process moved fast, and the support since then has been very good.- David, Co-founder, Primegrowth AI
2. Candidate quality: the right person on the first try
Clients do not praise us for sending lots of resumes. They praise us for sending few. Out of 1,000+ applicants per role, only the top 2-3 candidates reach the client interview, and reviews regularly mention hiring the first person presented.
Great service and communication. Guided me through the process of selecting a VA with great care and listened to my needs to find the right person.- Cameron Horne, US (Trustpilot)
Very organized and excellent candidates.- Ulf Waldmann, Trustpilot
3. Ongoing support and regular check-ins
This is the theme that separates VA MASTERS reviews from reviews of freelance marketplaces. Clients repeatedly mention that we keep checking in months after the hire. We run monthly check-ins with both the client and the VA, so small issues are fixed before they become reasons to quit.
The constant check-ins and backend support have been top notch. We've had to work through some onboarding challenges and they were right there at every step to support me.- Benjamin Jones, Trustpilot
I especially appreciate the regular check-ins. It's reassuring to know the team is following up and making sure everything is running smoothly.- David, Co-founder, Primegrowth AI
4. Real cost savings
Clients cite specific numbers: around 75% saved on design costs, over 30% saved on administrative and operational expenses, less than half the cost of a local social media manager. Hiring Filipino virtual assistants through VA MASTERS saves up to 80% compared to local hiring, depending on the role.
5. HR and admin handled in the background
Payroll, performance reviews, engagement and accountability come up in almost every long-form testimonial. Business owners want the output of a great employee without becoming an HR department for a remote team.
They handle all the payroll stuff too, which is huge for me!- Meryll, property owner, Trustpilot
6. VAs who take initiative
The word clients use most to describe their VA is "proactive." Reviews describe VAs who suggest improvements, catch issues before they escalate, and think about outcomes rather than tasks. That is not luck: our skill tests and interviews are designed to screen for it.
She doesn't just execute tasks, she suggests improvements, spots trends and actually cares about the client results. That's rare.- Leroy Waller, marketing agency owner, Trustpilot
Video Testimonials: Clients in Their Own Words
Written reviews are useful. Video is harder to fake. These are unscripted interviews with VA MASTERS clients talking about why they hired, what changed, and what they would tell another business owner.
Client Video Testimonials
What these clients shared
- Real estate investor, 70 properties: before hiring, two company phones rang constantly and a single permit could mean calling city departments five or six times. With one VA running day-to-day operations, the business closed 150+ deals in a year and adds 8-10 new properties every month. His key insight: "define what to do but not how to do it."
- B2B marketing agency CEO: saved 50-75% compared to local hiring and described his VA as "very skilled, rare even in high-tech." The hire let the agency expand the services it offers clients.
- Australian coaching founders: had their call on a Tuesday and a VA working by Thursday. They came in skeptical about offshore quality and left "very, very impressed" after the VA fixed their CRM and funnel issues and proactively filled knowledge gaps.
Client Testimonials by Industry
VA MASTERS recruits for any role that can be done remotely, so our clients span very different industries. Here is what business owners in each one say about working with us, unedited.
Real estate, property management and appraisal
Real estate is one of our biggest verticals. Property investors and managers hire VAs for tenant coordination, leases, bookkeeping, permits, cold calling and appraisal scheduling. Learn more about our real estate virtual assistants.

Our work runs through the Connect system, linking us to 150 to 200 AMC portals, so it's not the easiest thing for a new hire to pick up. Francis adapted quickly. He handles our calendar scheduling and outreach calls, and VA Masters set him up on a dedicated Google Voice line so clients see my caller ID when he calls on my behalf, which made the whole thing feel seamless from day one. Communication has been smooth throughout. We stay connected over WhatsApp, and there's never been a moment where I've had to chase something down or explain things twice. I still review and approve order acceptance myself, but having Francis manage the coordination around it has taken real weight off my plate. VA Masters made this an easy decision, and an even easier one to stick with.
E-commerce and online retail
E-commerce owners hire VAs for customer service, inventory, order processing, Amazon listings, PPC and product design. See our e-commerce operations virtual assistants.
We've had a very positive experience working with VA Masters Agency for virtual assistant support across Amazon uploading, PPC management, and creative/design work. What stands out most is their excellent communication: responses are quick, clear and professional, which makes day-to-day collaboration very easy.- F and F Stores, UK (Trustpilot)

Marketing agencies, SEO and content
Agencies were early adopters of Filipino VAs, and many now run campaign management, SEO, LinkedIn operations and AI content production through VA MASTERS hires. Explore our digital marketing and social media VAs.

Before working with VA Masters, AI video generation was eating up an enormous amount of my time, the kind of work that had to get done, but kept pulling me away from everything else. We started with 2 VAs and have since grown the team to 4. The team now handles the AI generation, social media posting, and collaboration across the content pipeline. That's freed me up to spend my time where it actually matters, building client relationships and going after the bigger opportunities, while my team takes care of the leg work. VA Masters made scaling from 2 VAs to 4 an easy call, since the recruitment and onboarding was handled on their end. If you're looking to get your time back without sacrificing output, I'd strongly recommend them!
The cost difference is significant too, we're paying less than half what we'd pay locally, which means we can finally be profitable on smaller client accounts instead of turning them away.- Leroy Waller, marketing agency owner (Trustpilot)
Agency and Marketing Clients

Tech, SaaS and fintech
Technical leaders tend to be the most skeptical buyers, which makes their reviews especially useful. Our QA testing virtual assistants are one of the most requested technical roles.
They tested candidates on actual scenarios from our codebase and made sure communication skills were on point before we even met them. That attention to detail showed they understood what we actually needed, not just what we asked for. [...] Just be ready to invest time upfront in proper onboarding. It pays off massively.- Nancy McCorkle, CTO, SaaS company (Trustpilot)

Since working with VA Masters, my productivity as CTO at a fintech company has drastically improved. Hiring an Administrative QA Virtual Assistant has been a game-changer. They handle everything from detailed testing of our application to managing tasks in ClickUp, keeping our R&D team organized and on schedule. They also create clear documentation, ensuring our team and clients are always aligned. The biggest impact has been the proactive communication and initiative—they don’t just follow instructions but actively suggest improvements and catch issues before they escalate. I no longer have to worry about scheduling or follow-ups, which lets me focus on strategic decisions. It’s amazing how smoothly everything runs without the usual HR headaches. This has saved us significant costs compared to local hires while maintaining top-notch quality. I highly recommend this solution to any tech leader looking to scale efficiently.
Healthcare, wellness and professional services

Working with VA Masters has been a great experience. My first virtual assistant wasn't quite the right fit for my business, and I appreciated how the team handled it. They listened to my concerns, took the time to understand what my practice really needed, and worked hard to find a better match. The VA I have now is amazing and fits right in. Beyond finding the right person, VA Masters also supports accountability and management, which takes a lot of stress off me as a business owner. I don't have to carry all of that on my own. I'd definitely recommend VA Masters to anyone looking for a reliable virtual assistant and a supportive company behind them

Recruitment, HR and operations
Recruiters are the toughest critics of a recruitment agency. Here is what they say. See our recruitment virtual assistants.
Over the past 6 months we have onboarded 3 new hires and are looking at another new VA in the coming weeks. They do such an outstanding job qualifying candidates, which makes my HR teams job so much easier.- Andrew Wolfe (Trustpilot)
Only 6 months working together they have helped me find 4 perfect VA's all highly qualified and all working very well.- Alex, US (Trustpilot)

Working with VA Masters completely changed the way I handle recruitment. Bringing Raquel on board as my Virtual Assistant has been a huge relief. She takes care of coordinating interviews, tracking candidate progress, and managing job publications, which frees up my time for strategic growth and interviews. One of the biggest benefits is not having to deal with the logistics side of things. Everything from payroll to performance reviews is managed smoothly by VA Masters, so I can focus on my business without getting bogged down by admin work. It’s reassuring to know there’s always someone to help ensure Raquel stays engaged and productive. I genuinely appreciate the support and efficiency they bring to my team. If you’re looking to grow your business without the usual stress, I can’t recommend them enough.
Design, creative and niche roles
Some of our most interesting placements are roles clients assumed they could not fill remotely: product designers, 3D modelers, even a remote academic monitor.

We build custom neckties and needlepoint pieces for clients, which means design is the heart of what we do. Bringing on Teo as our graphic designer through VA Masters was a great decision. His skills genuinely surprised us. He handles custom design proofs, pattern layouts, product mockups, and web/social visuals and the quality is exactly what we'd want to put our name on. The whole process was easy on our end, VA Masters found him, handled onboarding and the admin, and we just got to work. Three months in, he's part of how we operate. If you need real design talent without the hiring headache, we'd point you straight to VA Masters.
I needed a remote monitor to supervise a student in an academic setting for the next several months. After trying a few other companies who said they couldn't help me to find one, VA Masters came through. I'm very pleased with their candidate!- Wakefield Academy, US (Trustpilot)
Case Studies: How the Results Happened

| Marketing automation business | GoHighLevel expert | Needed someone to manage 15+ live funnels and complex automations; US experts cost $30-50/hr | Equally skilled VA hired; client saved over $40,000 |
| Marketing agency | Marketing manager VA | 6 months of failed hires and 100+ candidates screened elsewhere | Right person found in 3 weeks; about 70% cost savings vs. local hiring |
| Lifestyle brand | Video content creator | Founder filming at midnight and editing on weekends | Hired in 14 business days; engagement doubled in 2 weeks; 40% more sales from social traffic; $35,000+ saved per year |
| B2B agency | Sales development VA | Not enough qualified meetings to grow | 5X more qualified leads and $80,000+ in new business within 3 months |
| US real estate business | Real estate VA | High local overhead, slow hiring | Top performer hired in under 30 days; over $40,000 saved per year |
| Real estate investor | Operations VA | Phones, permits and admin consuming the owner's day | 70 properties managed; 150+ deals closed in a year |
Case study 1: A GoHighLevel expert for $40,000 less
The client needed a technical specialist who could manage more than 15 live funnels, complex integrations and advanced automations. Hiring a US-based GoHighLevel expert would have cost $30-50 per hour. We built a custom skill test around their real setup, screened CVs specifically for GHL depth, and ran multiple interview rounds. The VA they hired performs at the same level for a fraction of the cost. Read the full GoHighLevel specialist success story or see our GoHighLevel virtual assistants.
Case study 2: The "impossible" marketing hire
After six months of failed hires, this agency was told they were asking for the impossible: one person who could run Monday.com workflows, write Google Ads copy, manage LinkedIn campaigns and build client presentation decks. From over 100 candidates we found that person in three weeks. The result was about 70% savings compared to local hiring, and better performance across the board. Read the all-in-one marketing operations hire.
Case study 3: From burnout to 100K+ views
A lifestyle brand's founder was filming at midnight and editing on weekends. In 14 business days we recruited a video content creator, testing candidates on CapCut, writing and on-camera confidence. Within the first month the VA produced 20+ professional videos, one hit over 100,000 organic views, and sales from social traffic rose 40%.
Case study 4: 5X qualified leads for a B2B agency
This agency needed a sales development VA with native-level English and B2B instincts. Our skill test simulated real outreach, objection handling and prospect research, and we sourced across LinkedIn, OnlineJobs and our internal network. Within three months the VA delivered a 5X increase in booked meetings and helped close over $80,000 in new business.
Case study 5: A real estate VA who saves $40,000 a year
A US real estate business needed a VA with a strong property background and flawless communication. The hire was completed in under 30 days and saves the client over $40,000 per year. Read the full story: how this client saved $40,000 with a real estate VA.

Why the Hires Work: Our 6-Stage Process
Almost every testimonial on this page traces back to one stage of our recruitment process. The skill test is why clients describe VAs as proactive. The client interview stage is why they hire on the first try. The ongoing support is why they stay. Here is how VA MASTERS recruits for each role.
Detailed Job Posting
We define the role with you: daily tasks, tools, hours and the kind of person who succeeds in your business.
Candidate Collection
1,000+ applicants per role through job boards, headhunting and referrals, analyzed with AI tools.
Initial Screening
Internet stability, English level and relevant experience. Most applicants stop here.
Custom Skills Test
A real task from your type of business, not a generic quiz. This is where proactive candidates stand out.
In-Depth Interview
Communication, culture fit and judgment, assessed by our recruitment team.
Client Interview
You meet only the top 2-3 candidates and choose. Then we support onboarding and check in every month.
Why does the skill test matter so much? Because a resume shows what someone has done, while a test shows how they think. When Nancy's team saw candidates solve real scenarios from their own codebase, the hiring decision became easy. Read more about why we run real-time skill tests.

Get in Touch →When the First Hire Was Not the Right Fit
No recruiter places the perfect person every time, and any agency that claims otherwise is not being straight with you. What matters is what happens when a match does not work. Some of our most meaningful reviews come from exactly these moments.
My first virtual assistant wasn't quite the right fit for my business, and I appreciated how the team handled it. They listened to my concerns, took the time to understand what my practice really needed, and worked hard to find a better match. The VA I have now is amazing and fits right in.- Kimberlee, Owner, Counseling Practice
Here is how we handle it. If a VA is not working out, we start a new recruitment immediately using what we learned from the first hire. In one case a client's social media specialist was not the right fit and a replacement was working within a week. Because we already know the role, the tools and the client, the second search is faster and more precise than the first.
Onboarding challenges are also normal. A new VA needs time to learn your systems, and clients who invest that time upfront see the best results. As one CTO put it in her review: "Just be ready to invest time upfront in proper onboarding. It pays off massively."
Key Takeaway
The best predictor of a successful VA hire is not a perfect first match. It is an agency that stays involved, checks in monthly, and replaces fast when something is off. That is the pattern you see across VA MASTERS reviews.
How to Evaluate Any VA Agency's Reviews
Whether you hire through VA MASTERS or someone else, these checks will help you tell real reviews from marketing.
- Check independent platforms, not only the agency website. Look for Trustpilot, Google and Indeed profiles and compare them with the testimonials on the site.
- Look at how reviews were collected. Trustpilot shows whether a review is Verified, Invited or Unprompted. A healthy profile has a mix.
- Read the VA side. Agencies that treat VAs poorly see high turnover, and high turnover becomes your problem. Indeed and Glassdoor reviews from VAs are a leading indicator.
- Look for specifics. Real reviews mention names, tools, tasks and numbers. Generic praise with no details is a weaker signal.
- Look for how problems were handled. Reviews that mention a hiccup and a fix are more trustworthy than a wall of perfection.
- Watch for video. Unscripted video testimonials are much harder to fabricate than text.
Common Mistake
Choosing an agency on hourly price alone. The cheapest option often means no skill testing and no support after placement, which is exactly what clients in our reviews say went wrong before they found us.

From Our Client Check-Ins

A few favorites: one real estate client asked, "Larry is great. Can you duplicate him?" Another wrote about her VA, "She's amazing and helps us so much. There's truly no one like her." A third described a new creative hire as "smart and he learns fast... he's a keeper."
What Our VAs Say: Happy VAs Deliver Better Results
Why should a business owner care what VAs think of their agency? Because a VA who feels supported stays longer, communicates more openly and does better work. Turnover is the hidden cost of cheap outsourcing. Our VAs rate VA MASTERS 5.0 on Indeed, and that stability shows up directly in client results.
Many of our VAs mention the same things clients do: clear systems, regular check-ins, and being matched with a client who fits their skills. Read more on our VA employee reviews page, or if you are a VA, see open positions.

The story here isn't cost, it's selectivity.- Alon Pearl, Founder & CEO, VA MASTERS, in BusinessWorld
For small businesses that cannot afford high local hiring costs, remote hiring isn't about replacing current workers. It is often the key first step that helps a founder stop wasting time on basic tasks and start focusing on growing their business.- Alon Pearl, Founder & CEO, VA MASTERS, in Manila Standard
